Design:
As to the principle of design the single-screw pumps are horizontal machines of a positive-displacement type. The main working members - immobile rubber shell with a double-threaded screw surface and the metal single-threaded screw being revolving within the shell. In the course of screw rotation the cavities are created between the said screw and the shell surface and as a result the liquid being handled is sucked into these cavities and then is moved along the axis of the screw towards the delivery cavity. The pumps of AH1B type are manufactured with the acceptance of RF Marine Register.

Liquid to be pumped:
Single-screw pumps are intended to pump pure and polluted liquids having a temperature of up to 353K (80°C), including chemically-active ones with a kinematic viscosity of up to 4600 cSt (6200°BY). Maximum concentration of particles of suspen-sion - not more than 5% by mass, the size of solid particles up to 0,2mm.

where N1V 20/5 - designation of pump as per GOST18863-89;
16 - capacity of pump when coupled with motor, m3/h;
5 - pressure of pump when coupled with motor, kgf/cm2;
YXL - climatic version;
4.2 - in-service location category.

Note - The pumps may be manufactured out of the stainless steel, type -12X18H9T. In such a case the letter "K" is introduced into the designation of the pump unit. In connection with a substitution of material all the dimensions and parameters are not changed.
