Application and design:

The pumps are made in the following modifications:

SD series – is the portable, self-priming, drainage pump. The stationary base members are fabricated of aluminium and high-strength plastic material. The sealing of the shaft – is the standard reinforced, readily replaceable cuff. The pump may be used in private life, as well as in the industry for pumping water and heterogeneous non-aggressive liquids having mechanical impurities, at a viscosity of up to 1000 сP. The main application – is the cleaning of settling pits and cesspools, and furthermore, the proper watering and irrigation of gardens..

SH series – is the portable, self-priming pump for handling slightly corroding chemical liquids. The case of the pump is made of the stainless steel. The shaft is sealed by mechanical end-face seal under production of “Burgmann” firm. The said pump may be used for pumping oils, paints, creams, detergents, as well as for handling suspended matters where their agitating and foaming is undesirable.

PF series – is submersible sanitary pump. The stationary base members are made of the stainless steel. The pump may be used for forming systems of drainage and waste-water disposal systems, for handling liquids with increased content of mechanical and viscous admixtures, i.e. in those cases when it is impossible to use pumps such as “Gnom”.

Liquid to be pumped:

Single-screw, monoblock pumps of “Burun” production series are designed to pump pure water, as well as heterogeneous liquids and matters of up to 1000 сP with a temperature of up to 350С under continuous operating conditions and with a temperature of up to 700С at periodic duty.
Depending on capacity required or on viscosity of the liquid being handled, the pump is to be furnished with three-phase motors operated on a rotational speed of 3000, 1500, 1000 and 750 rpm, at a voltage of 380V and with a single-phase motors operated on a rotational speed of 3000 and 1500 rpm.

Advantages of the pumps :

The screw pumps take precedence over centrifugal pumps thanks to making steady, non-pulsating flow of liquid being handled. It allows to keep flow pattern and to prevent mixing.
- high ability to self-suction.
- simplicity of design providing ease of maintaining the pump. The pump consists of three main parts: the rust-resistant screw, rubber shell and sealing of the shaft.
- the capacity of the pump is proportional to a rotation rate. So, it is easier to adjust pump parameters, if a frequency driving is available.
- the high pressure of the pump provided its small overall dimensions is ensured by the design of the shell having a self-regulating gap, the gap between the operational surface of the screw and the shell keeps to steady values at a pressure boost.

3 – is the limiting pressure, kgf/сm2;
М – is the version of the motor (М - multiphase 220V; without designation – three-phase 380V) 0,55 – is the power of the electric motor, кW
4 – is the number of the motor poles (2 - 3000 rpm., 4 - 1500 rpm., 6 - 1000 rpm., 8 - 750 rpm.)
