Centrifugal vortex cantilever pumps of CVK type

Application and design:
Pumps are used in the fuel systems of the boilers having a low capacity.
Centrifugal - vortex pumps of CVK type - are double-stage, cantilevered
machines driven by a motor via the coupling box. The first stage is the
centrifugal one; the second stage is the vortex one. The centrifugal
impeller ensures cavitation-free operation of the vortex stage. The
centrifugal impeller is secured against axial movement; the vortex impeller
is a floating one. Transfer of liquid from the centrifugal impeller towards
the vortex impeller is carried out along the channel which is executed in
the cover of the pump.

Liquid to be pumped:
Pumps of CVK type and electric pump units on their base are designed to
pump water and other neutral liquids having a kinematic viscosity of
36*10-6 m2/s (36cSt), with a density not exceeding 1200 kg/m3 and a content
of solid inclusions not exceeding 0,01% by mass and up to 0,05 mm in size.
Temperature of liquid being pumped ranges from 258 up to 378K (from minus
15 up to 105°C).

Conventional alpha-numeric designation:
For example:
CVK 6,3/160 Y2 TY26-06-1280-87
where CVK 6,3/160 - standard size of the pump;
6,3 - capacity, l/s;
160 - head, m;
Y2 - in-service climatic version and location category
Conventional designation of the characteristic curves:
Q - capacity, m3/h;
P -head, m;
N - maximum power consumption of the pump, kW;
n - frequency of rotation, rpm;
-
efficiency, %;;
- admissible positive suction head, m;
