Application and design:
The pumps (pump units) are used in the steam-and-water lines of electric
power stations, which are operated on the organic fuel. The pump 1Kc -
centrifugal, horizontal, stage chamber machines with one-sided arrangement
of the impellers. The principle of operation of the pump consists in the
transformation of mechanical energy of the drive into the hydraulic power
of liquid. The suction branch pipe is positioned in the suction body and is
directed to the right from the horizontal axis of the pump, if viewed from
the drive side. The delivery branch pipe is positioned in the delivery body
and is directed vertically upwards. The supporting foots are cast to the
bottom of the suction and delivery bodies. The secured position of the axis
of the shaft is ensured by means of rigid fixing by pins of foots of the
delivery body and through the movable fixing by pins of foots of the
suction body. The air-tightness of joints of the sections of the suction
body, screw conveyer case and delivery body is ensured by rings out of the
heat-resistant rubber.

Liquid to be pumped:
Centrifugal condensate pumps of 1KS type and electric pump units on their
base are designed to pump condensate or fresh water with pH = 6.8...9,2,
and with a content of solid inclusions having a concentration not more than
5 mg/l and a maximum size up to 0,1mm.
