Design: For the first time in designing and manufacturing of the oil pump an advanced aviation technologies ("know - how") which have proved reliability and efficiency in extreme conditions of operation with repeated significant overloads during long term are applied. The pump took out a patent for an invention. The main point of the patent consists in the following: the movable parts of the plunger pair do no come in contact with the product.

Liquid to be pumped: The plunger-diaphragm pumps of PDN type are designed to pump out a stratal liquid of high viscosity and with an increased content of mechanical impurities from production oil wells provided that the minimum internal diameter of the casing strings is 114 or 121,7 mm. The content of mechanical impurities in the evacuated liquid should not exceed 50gr/l, the content of free gas at the pump intake - not more than 10% by volume. The maximum temperature of liquid in the formation [reservoir] conditions - 353K (80°C). The maximum viscosity of liquid in the formation [reservoir] conditions - 9 10-3 m2/s.

where, PDN - is the plunger-diaphragm pump;
40 or 50 - is the diameter of rod-plunger, mm;
1500, 2000 or 2500 - is the marginal pump setting into the well, m
2,5, 1,6 or 1,1 - is the maximum plunger stroke, m;
T - is the version of the pump for heavy crude (with double valves);
C - is the version of the pump with a cylindrical diaphragm (the pumps not marked by C-index number are provided with a flat diaphragm).
