QMS Certification

The certified quality management system complying with international standards for quality assurance within the meaning of ISO 9000 was implemented at the OJSC «HMS Pumps» in 2001.

The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping was chosen as a certification body for our company. In today's highly competitive business environment, the said organization is a recognized leader in the certification market for quality management systems, environmental systems and safety systems within the scope of responsibilities for quality management.

In May, 2001 the specialists of RMRS carried out quality audit of our enterprise to ensure that all standards and procedures are met by our employees, and just in July the company was presented with Certificates of Conformity in line with MS ISO 9001:94 and GOST R ISO 9001:96 as a confirmation of our quality assurance competence.

In order to gain a foothold in the market of military equipment, we also had to certify our Quality System within the entire system of «Military register». On March 1, 2002, as a direct result of efficient work on a project, OJSC «HMS Pumps» received the Certificate of quality system conformity according to the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001:96 and SRPP VT.

We are a dynamic company that is always working to improve our ways of doing business. So, in 2002-2003s the target program for transition to the new version MS ISO 9001:2000 was realized and the Recertification of Quality Management System was successfully implemented in May, 2003. This is why we have been awarded appropriate Certificates. These name us as the company which has established and applies a Quality Management System for design, development, production, mounting and service of pumps and electric pumping units on their base in a full compliance with requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2000, GOST R 9001:2001 and SRPP VT. Certification audit was performed by the Certification Association «Russian Register» - the Central Management Systems Certification Body of «Russian Maritime Register of Shipping».

Since the beginning of 2005 year regular work was carried out in order to establish the Integrated Management System (IMS). The said target work lied in the progressive integration of the Quality Management System being already used with the Systems which are subjected to introduction, namely: Total Environment Management System, Social Values System and PS & LP System.

The closing stage of development and introduction of the integrated management system was finalized by Certification audit which took place from June, 7 till June 9, 2006. The generally accepted auditing procedures were strictly followed in order to formulate an audit opinion regarding the ascertainment of the firm's compliance with specified rules and regulations of international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SA 8000 and Standard GOST RV 15.002. The experts of "Russian Register" investigated company's procedures and highly evaluated management system's efficiency. So, the OJSC "HMS Pumps" was presented with Certificates of Conformity of the management systems currently in force at the enterprise to the established Operating Norms as a confirmation of our competence.

Owing to the fact that the Certification Association «Russian Register» is a member of International Certification Network IQNet (that is the major international network of the leading certification bodies for management systems from 32 countries of the world), the Certificate of conformity ISO 9001:2000 received by the OJSC «HMS Pumps» has an international recognition.

The certified QMS of the enterprise is dynamically improved. This progress and complete correspondence to the requirements of International Standard MS ISO 9001:2000 and GOST RV have been confirmed by the results of compliance audit conducted at the enterprise from June, 5 till June, 7, 2007.
