Design and application:
The pumps of SM type for sewage applications are centrifugal, horizontal,
cantilevered machines having a gland seal of the shaft. They are intended
to pump municipal and industrial wastewater with high content of solids.
The flow sections of the pump are wider than flow passages of the pumps
being designed to handle pure liquids.
|
Liquid to be pumped:
Municipal sewage masses, industrial wastewater and other non-aggressive
liquids having a density of up to 1050 kg/m3 with pH = 6-8.5, and with a
temperature of up to 353K (80°C) and a content of abrasive particles up to
5 mm in size and not exceeding 1% by mass. Maximum concentration of the
mass being pumped is 2%. Maximum content of gases in the medium being
pumped is 5%.

Conventional alphanumeric designation:
For example: SM 80-50-200 YXL4 TY26-06-1672-95
where SM - is the wastewater pump;
80 - diameter of inlet, mm;
50 - diameter of outlet, mm;
200 - diameter of impeller, mm;
YXL - climatic version;
4 - location category.
or SM 80-50-200a YXL4 TY26-06-1672-95 - ditto, with turning of the impeller along the outer diameter
Conventional designation of the unit should indicate the rate of rotational speed:
SM 80-50-200-2 YXL4 TY26-06-1672-95
SM 100-65-200-4 YXL4 TY26-06-1672-95
SM 150-125-315-6 YXL4 TY26-06-1672-95
bear in mind that the last figure denotes the rotational speed:
2 - n synchr.= 48,4 s-1 (2900 rpm);
4 - n synchr.= 24,2 s-1 (1450 rpm);
6 - n synchr.= 16,0 s-1 (960 rpm);
Conventional designation adopted for the characteristic curve:
Q - capacity, m3/h;
H - head, m;
N - power consumption, kW;
n - rotational speed, rpm;
- efficiency, %;
- admissible positive suction head, m;
