Application and design:

Pump assembly driven by diesel engine - UN D10-1 is designed to intake water from free water pools and to deliver water via the pipelines for technical needs. Furthermore, the said pump assembly handles other liquids, similar to water in chemical activity, at a density of up to 1100 kg/сm2, with a temperature of up to 353К (850С), provided рН 6-9, with a content of solid inclusions not exceeding 1% by mass and a size of particles of 0,2 mm maximum. To fill up the pump with water, provision is made for the gas-jet apparatus. A rarefaction is made inside the body of the gas-jet apparatus because of exhaust gases going through the said apparatus. The body of the gas-jet apparatus is connected to the pump case by means of a hose and a cock. To put the gas-jet apparatus in operation, use is made of the cock, which is installed between the silencer of the diesel engine and the gas-jet apparatus. The packing of the shaft is ensured by the single end-face seal.

The delivery and suction production lines are coupled to the pump with the help of connecting heads for fire-fighting equipment:
at pump inlet – the suction head GMV-80 ГОСТ 28352-89;
at pump outlet – the delivery head GTS-50 ГОСТ28352-89.
